Morrowind (the game) is full of little tidbits. Post anything which you think is a secret or a cheat here.
Near Ghostgate - In the Red Ant version of Morrowind, there is a Racer Plume on the ground near here. If you try to pick it up, you get a message (like a plugin alert) saying something along the lines of "We hacked you, suck you" and the game freezes up your system. No other negative effects have been detected thus far. The Racer Plume does not seem to appear in any other version of the game.
Tree Stumps in the Bitter Coast - In the GOTY edition of Morrowind (may exist in other versions), the developers seem to have hidden numerous items in hollow, open treestumps. The stump near the lighthouse has an Axe in it (enchanted, I seem to recall) and the stump directly outside Seyda Neen has a Wooden Crossbow in it (along with a few bolts and a bit of money). Another stump somewhat further away has an enchanted Chitin dagger and more money. It is unknown how many of these treestumps have loot hidden in them.

You know how long its been since I played Morrowind? Oh, far too many months. Oblivion had me abandon it, Halo 3 that, and Mass Effect that.
Mmm, maybe I should whip it out some time soon. Get a sense for everything again.
But I do remember a ton of secrets...hidden treasures, glitches, that sort of thing. Need to sort'em out first before I give false information.

Oh yeah, if I remember correctly, a whole load of dungeons had secret areas with secret treasure which could only be reached via levitations. Well, I remember one dungeon which had a secret levitation-only opening anyway (don't remember the name).

Yeah there's a couple. I'm almost positive that was the way to get one of the Daedric helms.
